Doug Strand, Ph.D., has studied and used generative AI chatbots since 2023, building an extensive research library on how accurate and safe they really are. His specialty is AI for health and medical questions, built on career experience in improving the consumer experience in healthcare and health insurance. He is also putting his political science background to work, advocating for appropriate legislative restrictions on AI to better protect the public.
